How Do I Get Connected?
Our church is about being one team for GOD! We are Team SOJ! Whether you are a child, a grandparent, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our church community. Here are ways you can learn, serve, and grow at this church.
Children’s Church
Each Sunday morning service, children get to participate in their own classes experiencing Biblically sound, Gospel focused teaching with incredible application, activities and more allowing every child to participate and learn. On Wednesday night services, the children participate in a fun bible study with their class leaders. It is our pleasure spending time with each child, seeing them grow in the knowledge of the Lord, Jesus Christ. The Youth Alive ministry of our church is recognized for their meaningful interaction with kids for assisting in their growth in God during their adolescent
years.
Youth Alive
Life can get complicated once you cross that threshold into being a teenager. Teens find themselves in between being a kid and being an adult faced with more decisions and responsibilities. Youth Alive is for teens 13 to 18 to continue their walk with Jesus in a more grown up way. Youth Alive occurs along side the Wednesday night service at The Sanctuary.
Women’s Group
Women’s Group give the ladies in our church family special times of interaction. Our Woman’s Group, are times of fellowship, Bible study, prayer (and, of course, food). These groups provide a refreshing discipleship opportunity for the women in the church to grow and mature in Christ.
Men’s Group
The Men’s Group gather often for fellowship, prayer, and to encouragement of each other. These times of gathering provide opportunity for further development and growth for the men of our church family.
Other areas where you can get involved include the Care Ministry, Children’s Ministry, Welcoming and Greeting Teams, Usher Team, and Security Team. Check in at the Information Desk at the SOJ for more information.
